In the followup call after a meeting at a conference or convention, I have resorted to saying, "I was the guy in the bow tie." to which they replied "Oh, yes! It was a pleasure seeing to you. How can I help?." Something that marketeers would kill for. The downside is, you can't ever go back to a straight tie without generating negative comments. On a trip, my bow tie has never failed to get consistent and positive comments - something I accept graciously - but still wonder if it's the tie or that they're surprised I'm still ambulatory.<br />I'm also surprised at the number of women that respond positively to my tie. An informal poll of some of these women reveal that they lament the decline of style, and that the bow tie is a lift for their spirits. Wow. I'll stick with being "That Bow Tie Guy" thank you!Cinquainnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4119187433618815256.post-27159775240375567642011-10-18T02:02:13.809-04:002011-10-18T02:02:13.809-04:00I am much comfortable wearing bow ties instead of ...I am much comfortable wearing bow ties instead of an ordinary neckties and I feel like I'm one of the main antagonist in the Godfather film.DKNY Designer Suitshttp://www.megasuits.com/suits/dkny/gcode_DKNYnoreply@blogger.com
